This photo was taken for the pattern and texture assignment. The picture was taken from above and to the side of the leaf. The repetition of lines in the leaf shows that the leaf has a bumpy texture. The lines are also used to lead the viewers eyes through the photo. The photo was taken during the beginning of the fall, the edges of the leaf are brown while the rest of the leaf is still green. The white balance was set to direct sunlight. The ISO was set to 1000. The aperture was set to f/2.8.

This photo was taken for the pattern and texture assignment. The photo was taken a few feet away with the lense fulling zoomed in on the object. The numerous lines in the fuzz of the dandelion is an example of repetition. The aperture was set to f/4. The shutter speed was set to 1/800 of a second.
This photo was taken for the aperture assignment. The photo was taken at eye level with the object. I edited the photo to make the background more lighter than what it originally was when I had taken the photo. Repetition is seen in the numerous curves in the ping pong balls. The rim of the jar provides lines that direct the viewer's eyes into the jar. The white balance was set to fluorescent and the aperture was set to f/2.8.
This photo was taken for the self portrait assignment. The photo was taken from the side of the model with the models head facing the camera. Texture can be seen in the models sweatshirt and in the petals of the flower. The models hair provides lines. The mood of this image is mysterious because the model has her attention directed at something that the viewer can see. This allows the viewer to think about what she is looking at. I edited the photo to darken the shadows in the hair and face and to make the background darker. The white balance was set to fluorescent and the shutter speed was set to 1/500 of a second.
